Yowzers! Did you use corel painter to paint over a vue render or did you use photoshop filters? That looks awesome!

This was done by rendering a picture in Vue.
I wasn't happy with the lighting and so decided to play about with it to see what I might achieve.

Everything beyond Vue was done in Photoshop.
I used a diffuse filter, I used a watercolour action, I used a glowing edges filter (which I subsequently desaturated and inverted then applied on Multiply blend setting).
Each of these processes were placed in separate layers and using layer masks, applied selectively where they looked best.

A watercolor action? I don't think i've come across any of them before, i've only played with the watercolor filter but that doesn't provide believable results. Did you create the action yourself or did you get it from somewhere? Just curious
