This is definetily one realistic Vue scene. I thought you did photography on the side actually  The whole landscape is good, but what really makes it great is the presence of moss on the rocks as actual growths and not just textured (like I would ) and the fallen leaves too

Thank you - it reminds me of where I come from. I love mossy places - hence the need for losts of real moss.
I find loooking at real places fills in the detail that the mind might otherwise omit.

Great place, I really like it. But, like in my other comment, it seems you tried to apply some depth of focus and this caused artifacts in some areas. The DoF is not evenly spread, it would seem to me. Again, I would love to see this piece without it. Great work nonetheless! I particularly like your attention to details.

Thanks - depth of focus is a problem.
I'm not sure if the within-Vue tools are strong enough - although I haven't really explored them well.
I have ended up trying to replicate the effect in Photoshop.
More work needed :-)

This can't be 3D. NO! Really amazing work! How do you put it together, especially the lighting. I think it culminates it all. Great piece!

Thanks for the encouragement.
Appreciate that.

To be honest - lighting is my weak point.
I often end up making more than one render with different light settings and because some bits look good on one and some on another I sometimes overlay or mask one into another in Photoshop.
